Robert Anton Wilson is among the few authors that has survived all the reorganizations of my bookshelves so far. I guess that he is most famous for his Illuminatus-trilogy, but I like his Cosmic Trigger diaries the best by far. Especially Volume One is a true mind blower. I like to believe that certain drugs, the kind of which R. A. Wilson used a lot, have the strongest effect not on the people who take them, but on whoever reads the books written by these people.
There are many videos of Robert Anton Wilson on YouTube and they are all worth watching. He is not only a great thinker and writer, but also a good performer and eloquent speaker. But it are his insights that matter, like the one he expresses here.
