The drawing by Piranesi, that was used for this animation, has been on my mind since i saw it first, which must have been 25 years ago, at least. I saw it as a visualisation of the mind, with all its broken bridges, blind corridors, endless stairs and empty halls. The effect it had on me was that it gave me the creeps. And it still does, even though i have seen the drawing hundreds of times now.
The animation doesn’t has that effect on me; the nightmarish aspect is not in it. But i do like the animation.
