Due to lack of a more fitting category ( a problem every unique person has) Wesley Willis is usually categorized as an outsider. Last night I heard one of his first recordings, a song called Chronic schizofrenia, in which he sings about his situation 15 years ago. He was in an mental hospital and the change he would ever come out was small. He is now a musician, with several records and CD’s out, but it took him a long way to get this far.
The video that I choose is a random one; to get a better impression of the man you should check out more of his work. And there is a lot to find on the Net.
