Egyptian Beatles

Friday, 28 March 2008

Milan Hulsing visits Cairo rather frequently these days. He says that is because of his wife work, but like most of his friends I think that he is searching for the Hall of Records. He is most of all searching for the Holy Grail: an LP by The Cairo Jazz Band.
It is very unclear if this record exists, but everybody knows what is on it: the most exotic, wild, stomping music that you’ve ever heard!
Recently Milan send me a mail about an expedition to a store that was so dirty that he was sick for days. “I am coughing up all kind of stuff in psychedelic colours, but it was worth the dig. Among what I found was this 45:”
That is about all I want to say about this record, because my words are being counted, if you know what I mean.
