The Osmonds

I was probably 11 when I saw The Osmonds for the first time. The whole family was watching a saturday night show (“*Eèn van de Acht*”) and The Osmonds were a sort of mystery guests. They did “Crazy Horses” and I had my first musical erection that evening. Next monday I bought the single, which I still have, although it has little left of the groove. I also bought their LP and some of their next 45´s, but none of their other songs had that incredible magic that “Crazy Horses” has. I still love the song. The video is on YouTub*e, of course. And it is still magic. But tonight I discovered *another Osmonds video and I am shocked. I know, we all grow old. I am just as old as Donny. But somehow I never realised before how old I really am as when i watched this video. Prepare yourself, it neary brought me to tears. And I am not joking.
