While riding my bike i noticed a pile of books on the pavement today. Ten books that looked as if they were brandnew:

I still think it would be a great idea to write a blog about things that are found on the street. Unfortunately i have too many other topics that go first. Like records!
Yesterday i bought a bunch of soul 45’s. This one had a title that fits the occasion too good not to share it with you:

The lyrics have nothing to do with coming home from a vacation. It is a song about Vietnam. Many years ago Jan Gorter sent me two cassette tapes with Vietnam songs. If i ever get a timetravelmachine i will digitalize these tapes, but for now you have to do it with this 45 by Charles Smith & Jeff Cooper:
