For the past few days I spend a few hours on Facebook. I already have over ten friends! I understand Facebook better than MySpace or Hyves. But I will not really use Facebook. I only sit behind the computer to write this blog and to answer some mail; I already neglect many of my real life friendships, so I wouldn’t know how to keep up ten friendships on Facebook!

The problem is you guys see Facebook (and related networks) like a goal in itself. You should see it as a tool to get things done!

No the problem is that we can’t handle THAT many tools at once. We got problems handling tools anyway.

Handling various tools at once is easier than you think: you can automatically publish the feed of your blog on both Facebook and Hyves for instance, and thus triple the reach of your publications.

In other words: more than half of what you see on my Facebook profile comes from other sources (Weirdomusic.com feed, Weirdomusic Twitter-feed, posts on Mobypicture, etc.)
