Only recently, maybe since a year or so, i became aware of the fact that i am old. Compared to some people my age i am in a pretty good health, but i just realised that i am way over the hill. That is a weird realisation. And it made me look with new eyes to other people that are of my generation.
Max Natkiel made photo’s of people who visited Paradiso in the late seventies and early eighties. I know or knew quite a few people that are in that book. And some of them are already dead. Marc Geerards has recently made a movie in which he shows some of these people as they are now.
