Dirk Koorn gave me a perfect copy of the record that Laguestra made in 1967 for El Paso, a new cigarette produced by Laurens:

On the A side of this 45 is a speech by N.G. Klijn, the director of the N.V. Sigarettenfabriek Ed. Laurens “Le Khédive”. But it is of course the tune by Laquestra that makes this advertisement record worth having. (If you insist on hearing hearing N.G. Klijn reading his message from paper, I can always sent you an mp3, of course. But I can assure you that you don’t won’t that.)
The compilation CD with music by Laquestra is still in the making; if anybody has a tip for a record company that might be interested in releasing such a CD, I would be very happy to hear that.
