Postcards (part 1)

I am not in the mood for words at the moment. While doing this blog i changed from word-person into a image-person. Of course, the words will return again, there have been more periods in my life when i didn’t feel a desire to express my thoughts in words.
So, to make the best of this situation, i have began to sort out some darker areas of my archive. Today i stumbled upon a box with old postcards. Until about ten years ago, these cards were for sale on every market in Holland. And then suddenly, i couldn’t find any anymore. Yes, i can buy them for a lot of money in second hand stores, but the fun was that they didn’t cost a thing and that i actually used them as postcards.
Here are some examples of the kind of cards cards that i loved to buy:!

There must be websites dedicated to this stuff, but i don’t know them. I would rather have a thick, no, complete Taschen Verlag book with good reproductions of all these postcards. I have only a small collection, and i think that there is an incredible lot of this stuff made.
