My world

There are many moments, days, weeks that inspiration is not abundant, to put it mildly. I have learned myself pass these times doing things that are rather simple. Cutting out images from newspapers and magazines, digitising records and tapes, putting my records in alphabetical order, answering mail, that kind of things. When I am inspired, these are usually the least things I want to do!
Recently I have been spending a lot of time working on my scrapbooks.
Here are some new pages:
More than once people asked me why I do this. But apart from the fact that this is what I like to do when I cannot think of anything better, I don’t have an answer to that question. I realise that these time consuming, non-productive activities are not what most people my age tend to do, but I have given long up trying to explain myself. In the end every activity is quite ridiculous when you look at it from another perspective than the TimeSpace location that we happen to occupy in the universe. And hey, if could sing or play a guitar, be sure I would do that in stead of this!
Since a while I have a PDF creator on my computer. I thought that making PDF’s was difficult, but to my surprise and joy it is a piece of cake. So here is a PDF of the first 40 pages of “My World”, as I called this series of my scrapbooks. And unless I wake up one morning with a beatiful voice or with the abilty to play three chords in the right order on a guitar, or when I discover a way to be inspired all of the time, there is more of this stuff to come.

Fascinating PDF. You know what also crossed my mind when going through these pages? That you should come over to Cairo one time.
